So, the “2011 New Hymns For An Old War Tour” has come to a successful conclusion! 40 shows in 47 days, and now we’re back in Providence for a short rest before starting studio sessions for the next album.
We’d like to profusely thank EVERYBODY who had a hand in making this tour happen - from the bands we played with, to soundpeople who actually care about their work, to our friends around the country who were willing to host 4 smelly, road-weary dudes in their nice, comfortable homes. Most importantly, to the kids who came out to all the shows to dance and sing along! We met a lot of great people this time out; and in all respects, this was the most successful tour we’ve ever done. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Here’s “Guns Up” live from Decatur, AL last Friday - one of the best live clips of us we’ve ever seen.
Until next time,

PFA show w/ NIAYH, Amy Everhart, & Holy Holy Holy in PDX tonight @ Rodney House (5725 NE Rodney Street) / 8p-12a / All Ages / Donation!
We’re 7 days into the tour, and things are great so far. Our Prius is averaging just under 40 MPG, our little trailer is holding up amazingly well, the shows have been great, folks have been psyched to get their copy of “New Hymns,” and we’ve been met with some humbling hospitality everywhere along the way. Innumerable thanks to everybody who’s helped us out so far!!

Tonight we play the Bourbon St. Cafe in Columbus with our comrades Matter of Planets! Show starts at 9pm and costs $5 at the door. Unfortunately, it’s an 18+ show (sorry); but if you do your best to look sophisticated when you walk through the door, perhaps it’ll all work out. : )

We hope to see you out on the road this summer!
